Karola Wegerich

 Karola has been sculpting for the past 6 years and she sculpts almost every day, you might say she is a sculpting junky! Karola says: I am most productive at night, when everybody else is asleep. I normally work using photos as a reference. It is always fascinating to see how a lump of clay takes shape and gets facial features and eventually its own personality. With a bit of luck the end product looks like the original. I have around 70 dolls already in my doll showroom and people from our guest house love to visit the dolls and are amazed by them! I get a lot of positive feedback from the visitors. I sell a lot of dolls too and some of my dolls have been transformed into kits. Karola most recent creation was the beautiful Wilma toddler that sold out in minutes.
