The tool is soft and flexible and very comfortable in your hand, especially during those long hours of felting.

All grips slip on & off the needle insert sleeve easily and the grips lock the needle in place firmly.
The needle protector cover slips on to protect you from any accidental pricks when storing and changing the grips.There is also a small hole in the storage box to sit your needle when taking a break from working on your doll head.
